The flat pack hydroponic system was designed to be used indoors year round. The system can be used to grow plants traditionally or hydroponically depending on what the user would like to do. Laser etchings of flowers can be seen on the side of the system as an educational tool. The common name of the flower as well as the scientific name can be found laser etched on the frame. The shelves can be adjusted to meet the needs of the plants as they grow. 

The project lead to a grant to teach sustainability and Design to children at an after school program. All design, fabrication production, video, educational teaching, and grant writing done by Tristan Hess.
