Yan Demir is an electronic music artist from Thessaloniki, Greece based in Madrid, Spain. Sound cassete is his recording format and his inspiration comes through dark-synth elements and deconstruction. I developed this packaging identity by taking into consideration the 25 unique analog pieces that would be made. My approach consists of minimal elements yet sophisticated in order to communicate the abstract concept of the album. I took photos of a textile in movement and by using the technique of barrier grid animation, I tend to create the feel of an imaginary sound wave. The greek album’s title “mproumitos vizena chaos” stands for “proning nursing chaos”. Enjoy.
