Lower leg prosthesis concept

Lower leg prosthesis concept.
This multipurpose prosthesis was designed for the everyday use. By employing modular components it allows for quick exchange in the lower module, permitting the shift in between lower modules made for activities such as: running, swimming or everyday walking. Here it is presented with a running module, inspired by the already commercial prosthesis, this module allows for 360° rotation and adjustable angle, which can be fixed to allow the user to personalize it for better performance. A shock absorber is employed for helping attenuate impact on the body.
The materials are thought for making it comfortable and light weight, with carbon fiber in the running lower module, joints and shock absorber made from titanium for extreme duration, polyethylene in the main socket and a stump covering made from sylicon and  hypoallergenic, moisture relieving fabric for maximizing comfort.
