/// In visual perception a color is almost never seen as it really is — as it physically is. This fact makes color the most relative medium in art./// #josephalbers
Colour Blend Monoprints: part of an open and ongoing research on colour interactions in experimental printmaking.
The viewer can witness how colours shift from their original values and hues towards new shades and shapes that they take on in the process of screen printing. Colours mix an interact with each other creating something new with every following print. In comparison, first and the last print will come to the extreme difference, while prints in between will show the gradual shift of the colour combination.
Marked as one-off, each print is unique and original, yet still unified with the colour palette chosen for the particular colour 'edition'.
