The Chivas Brothers' Blend Activation

The Chivas Brothers' Blend is the first new launch for the Chivas brand since Chivas 25 was relaunched in 2007.

The Chivas Brothers' Blend was created as a tribute to the founding brothers, James and John. It is a thoroughly modern interpretation of the famously smooth Chivas style.

James and John first worked together at the Chivas Brothers’ Emporium in King Street, Aberdeen, established in 1801. Known for selling fine foods and whiskies, the famous Chivas Brothers’ legacy lives on to this day with its range of world-class luxury Scotch whisky.

Interpreting the Chivas Brothers’ unique emporium in Aberdeen which supplied Europe’s elite with the finest food and drink, we created a travel retail experience, which would enable the consumer to rediscover the unique heritage of Chivas Regal through the story of James and John.

In creating the concept we photographed a recreation of the Chivas Brothers' Emporium, sourced with original fittings, products and packaging. The photography was then applied across key visuals and a graphic wallpaper.

A full 360° activation was conceived, including advertising, digital, merchandising and POS. A downloadable activations guidelines toolkit was designed and provided to brand managers within Chivas Regal for a consistent launch across global markets.
