Prototype 1

Concept:
The concept behind this prototype is to signify neuron cells in the garment. It is spread all over the body, the same has been tried to show. Red is the first colour that is thought of when we think about nerves. A series of network has been shown here as a concept. The concept has been tried to show using very relatable materials. Copper wire was extracted  from electrical wire and it was twisted and connected to one another to show a network and it was used as a upper garment. Then small threads was cut and pasted in a piece paper and used as lower garment. Then a model was created using plaster of Paris and then carved holes in it to show cell silhouettes.

Materials Used: Copper wire, silk thread, paper, Fevicol, POP and acrylic colour
Prototype 2

Concept:
The concept behind this garment is to show transparency of cell membrane. This also represents and shows the form of cell clusters. Melted glue has been used as a material for this garment because it has good translucent property and moulding property. The resulted garment is based on the explorations done before. First of all, melted glue was moulded into many semi spheres in different sizes. It was let to rest and then they was attached to one another and given such a beautiful structure that could fit in a human body.

Materials Used: Hot Glue Stick, Hot Glue Gun.
Prototype 3

Concept:
The concept behind this prototype is to signify group of cell and its silhouettes in the garment. A sense of drama is added in the garment to show uncertainty in the direction of cells. This prototype is completely based on the exploration done on the cells form and silhouettes in the 3d image making process, and same materials has been used here. Different layering is also done on the garment as to increase the aesthetic appeal of the garment as well as to provide three dimensional value (i.e. cell over cell) by a two dimensional material. First of all, different kind of shapes, especially long to be able to drape, was drawn on a sketch paper. Then, incense stick was used make random holes in it. Then all the shapes was cut and all the cut pieces was draped to the body as per the sketched design.

Materials Used: sketch paper, incense stick to make holes.
Prototype 4

Concept:
The concept behind this prototype is to signify cell clusters but in a different way as presented before. Transparency is the key element here, while cell form and silhouette is also a factor. Bubble wrap is the material that that been used here. Since it has small spherical surfaces in it, it easily represented cells. First of all, those bubble wrap was cut into small circles, and then it was pasted on the body overlapping one another, both in front and back. Thus, it easily represented numbers of spherical cells clustered into one another.

Materials Used: Bubble wrap.
