Cover books for Fahrenheit 451

The inspiration for this project comes from one of the pioneers of cover books design in Spain: Daniel Gil. His work managed to be different and change the established of the traditional discipline, renewing the graphic and visual culture of the time. He worked for Alianza Editorial for twenty-five years, and this work was the pinnacle of his career, attracting the public to read with his impressive covers.
The technique he uses is the visual metaphor, inspired by the feeling the book leaves him after it is finished, so that he plays with a more poetic and abstract sense. In a varied, elegant and geometric way, Gil uses all the analogical resources that are within his reach: photography, collage and typography among others, keeping a visual sense in all of them.

After achieving the desired result, we proceed to the layout of the covers, also taking into account the compositional style of Daniel Gil. As a result, the two covers shown below were made.
