Divine Feminine: Greek Goddess Circe

Circe is the daughter of Hecate and one of mythology’s most popular figures of witchcraft and sorcery. She is well adversed in plant spirit medicine and holds the powers of transformation and shapeshifting.

In one of the myths about Circe she turns a bunch of men into pigs as part of a revelation of the true self spell. I really liked this story, so I decided to include the head of a pig in my illustration. The other symbols I included are the chalice as well as garlic, mugwort and mandrake which are the herbs associated with her as a figure of green witchcraft.
