Flip Book - "The Sting"

During the first weeks of my Stop-Motion Animation class, the first project tasked to us was to complete a flip book only using 100 frames. I decided to make "The Sting", a short animation based on a figure getting stung by a "bee" and then having the sting affect it in an unpredictable way.
During Pre-Production, I storyboarded the ending a bit differently. I wanted to final cards to physically tear to make it seem like the figure had an overexaggerated allergic reaction to the sting where it physically blows up, but with the limited frames, I didn't want to be as destructive and run out of material. I finally ended up making the figure change mentally instead of physically.
The Production process was pretty straight forward. 3.5" x 5" note cards were used for each hand drawn frame. I used the backlight of a drawing tablet with a pure white background to make sure each drawing was registered accurately. once each frame was drawn in with pencil, I went back over each one and traced over the figures and lines with a 0, 4 fine tipped drawing pen.
Finally in post production, Adobe Premiere Pro was used to compile each frame and time it out accordingly aiming for 24 - 30 fps. I decided not to add audio for reasons of focusing on the animation itself. I may decide to add audio in at a later point.
