Designing Typography With Letters/Glyphs

These compositions use black and white glyphs to create an effective piece of art that communicates more than just simple letters and numbers.
The overall purpose of this project was to learn to create a piece of art by only using letters and numbers. We learned more about how these letters and numbers can be turned into just shapes in a composition, adding unity and making the overall feeling effective. Before this project, my composition background was limited to simple shapes being combined into a piece of art, but my knowledge has been expanded to consider these letters and numbers more complicated shapes that can work together as well.
This composition specifically uses a well thought through focal point. I used the "C" inside the letter "P" to help draw attention because we don't see that very often.
This composition uses the idea of aligning different shapes well to create unity. The "Q" and the "T" are aligned well, along with the "W" and "V". This helps to please the eye.
