Design Achievement
In an effort to enhance the industrial area surrounding Wrigley Field, the owners of a retail development situated along the river decided to undertake a campus-wide revitalization project. DLR Group was commissioned to rebrand the retail campus and design experiential graphics and signage, with the goal of revitalizing retail businesses and activities in this bustling section of Chicago. The rebranding efforts establish a unique brand identity and foster a cohesive retail environment that takes inspiration from the campus's location along the river and its industrial surroundings. The introduction of new illuminated signage along the road captures attention and directs focus towards the revitalized commercial center, while the updated facades and signage for individual tenants generate curiosity and interest in the diverse range of retailers present.

Scope Summary
The rebranding efforts for the commercial center encompassed the development of a new name, identity mark, and business materials such as business cards and stationery. In terms of experiential graphics design, the project involved the creation of several large-scale wall graphics on brick surfaces. Architectural upgrades to the retail center were seamlessly integrated with the installation of a new 3D illuminated sign and engraved, painted reclaimed wood signage for each of the tenants. DLR Group played a key role in providing brand development and experiential graphics design services for this project.
