15mm.co.uk Logo (2005)
A simplistic type-only logo for 15mm.co.uk, using Goudy’s Copperplate Gothic in light and bold weights. The only real challenge in this logo was finding a balance with the three elements (“15”, “MM”, and “.co.uk”), the client wanting a subordinate logo that would fit with their white-on-black e-commerce design, and would not drawn attention from their products which could be displayed in full-colour or in greyscale.

Whilst requested at launch, the horizontal versions of the logo below were in general found to be unnecessary other the subsequent decade of use by the client—I don’t believe the “www” prefix was ever used. The weighting and balance of the stacked logo above meant that the logo could be used comfortably even at small-sizes without significant fidelity issues.
