"In the aftermath of an apocalypse which wiped out nearly all magic
from a once-wondrous fantasy world a former bard named Hum seeks a
way to save the soul of his wife with nothing but a foul-tempered mutant unicorn and his wits to protect him…"

Based on Simon Spurrier sketches, I created 2 maps of the world of Coda before and after the apocalypse. The original, "officially printed" map, has all of the attributes of the fantasy world, including cities' emblems, map legend and, of course, some skull & bones marking dangerous territories. Second one,  faded and a bit burned, is used by the main character as the new post-apocalyptic map which includes his side notes (he is definitely prejudice
against spiders and cacti).

Coda is a 12-issue series with 3 main arcs. For each arc I created back covers and credits pages as collages depicting 3 main characters and elements from the world. Main character, Hum, is a bard, writing down stories of a new world, so all of the pages are done with rough texture paper effect to resemble what a medieval scroll might look like.
