THE ACTING LIFE
Clap board presented when the shot is ready.

Acting is the art of diving oneself into a completely fictional world. A world that might or might not resemble the reality we live in. Sometimes the world might be different, new and nothing like the ordinary. Imagination for an Actor is a huge deal. There are definitely scenes and movement for a character to make up in their mind and then act it
out effortlessly. Acting needs to be believable. It needs to look like even though the Actor's life and the role they are playing are entirely different it needs to look like their the same body. Same mind, same body, same face.
Mics and Lights are ready for the actor.
In Acting especially it is important for an Actor to really delve into their character. When you have a whole cast, crew, lights etc… ready for you, your responsibility is to know and play the character given to you to the fullest potential. It is important to know your lines, be friendly, know your skill and help out when needed.

Set Decoration.
Set decoration when it comes to acting is important. Even though you might have your script and character development, walking on to set and observing what your character has,  what he/she doesn't, what are their interests etc… Visualization and observation of the room helps brings the character to life.
Camera's are ready.
An actor should know their camera angles and always be on time to set and follow etiquette to reduce the time wastage.
Lighting is a crucial part.
Lighting helps with lighting up the scene, bringing light to the actor's face etc…

These are a few things that happen on set and things the actor's are prepared for.

Thank you.
