Mission impossible: Rogue Nation was released on July 23, 2015. The main cast includes TOM CRUISE, REBECCA FERGUSON, SIMON PEGG along with Jeremy Renner, Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris, Ving Rhames, Simon McBurney, and Tom Hollander. Its writer and director are Christopher McQuarrie. Its producers are J.J.Abrams and David Ellison under the production company Skydance Productions and were distributed by Paramount Pictures. It is based on MISSION IMPOSSIBLE by Bruce Geller. The film's budget was $150 Million and it earned $682.7 Million at the box office. The music theme is composed by JOE KRAEMER.
The movie starts with Benji hiding in the grass looking for Ethan Hunt and Brandt giving him instructions that the plane should not take off with the package present inside. And here are all-time favorite hero Tom Cruise aka Ethan Hunt enters, surprising all of them and the intense action scene, I won't give you a spoiler. Hunt somehow manages to get inside and what happened next, let it be hidden. There is a clash between the CIA and IMF officials. The judge made a very bias statement, dissolves IMF, and handed it to the CIA. Then is the entry of the glamour queen rather action lady IISA. The Syndicate turns out to be real. It tries to seek significant information about the IMF but already knows a lot that how the IMF operates. A six-month time-lapse, CIA trying to find Hunt and boom they couldn’t its Hunt after all. And here you'll enjoy the two parallel beauty traits that are Hunt with beard and Hunt without the beard. Then comes the Opera night with an astonishing revival of Hunt. Those super cool glasses are handed over to Benji which helped him kept connected to Hunt. The escaping scene of Hunt and Ilsa had its flex. The entire setup of Morocco was a part worth watching. Without adding any spoilers, I would summarize it that the Washington Bureaucrats such as CIA Chief disbanded IMF but Hunt pulls his team together and somehow eradicates the evil force, “The Syndicate "; IMF’s terrorist counterpart.
The dialogues of this movie are humor based. I would like to add some instances from the movie. when Benji demanded some action in the plan, Hunt replied: “We are trying to keep a low profile. You want drama, go to the Opera ! “
Moreover, when Luther warned Brandt that if he senses any doubt, he would kill him as the orders of Hunts assassination have been given by the CIA, his glance was quite sarcastic.
While talking about the costumes, as it is an action-based movie, so it lacked fancy costumes. Men were dressed formally as you won’t see any secret agent dressed in a casual manner working in an agency, it's quite inappropriate! But don’t get disappointed as the only fancy costume used would end up your disguise in a single glance, have a look!
While talking about the other significant aspects of this movie, Tom Cruise is well known for performing his stunts. The most amazing stunts were as following :
The motorcycle chasing scene
Hanging off an airplane
Holding his breath for six minutes.
I won’t spoil the fun by adding the details but I would like to provide a sneak peek to arouse your interest.
While talking about the plane stunt, it is inappropriate not to discuss the mighty plane used for this priceless scene. The plane used is Airbus 400 M Atlas.
Another exciting factor of this movie is that BMW M3 series cars are its stars. It promises a lot of BMW cars and their sizzling crash scenes and for car lovers, it's a must-watch movie.
While talking about languages, three main languages English, German, and Swedish is used. Coming towards the genre of the movie, it is a thriller, action-based adventurous movie with secrecy on the peak. The major theme of this story lies in its title i.e, Rogue Nation. A rogue nation is a state that does not respect the international decisions of another state. This is directly linked to the clash between the CIA and IMF. Anti-terrorism measures are also in limelight.
If we compare Mission Impossible 5 with the rest of the four parts, we find more trill, more action, and better stunts along with groomed actors. As far as the anatomy of the rogue nation is concerned, the shooting was done using ARRI ALEXA camera series, and double-negative and plowman visual effects were implemented with 2K DCP as a distribution medium. 3 shooting regions, Austria, Morocco, and UNITED KINGDOM were involved.
Discussing a spy movie and gadgets are not discussed, not so fair …!! Well, let me introduce you to some extremely hilarious gadgets used in mission impossible 5. The most appealing gadget to me was the Vienna opera brochure that converted into a touchscreen laptop. Let's give it an ammunition kick! The next gadget is those guns in form of blowing apparatus and that trumpet sort of musical instrument. Amazed, aren't you? The next gadget is the glasses given to Benji to communicate with Hunt with properly installed functions in it . the last but not the least gadget if told would be a major spoiler, I would give a hint, it's a huge glass box and that's it go watch yourself!
I just loved the ironic and humorous dialogues spread throughout the movie. My favorite dialogue was when IMF got a revival and came back into action and Brandt said to the Chief of CIA: “Welcome to IMF Mr. Secretary “ which was the same dialogue said by the Chief of CIA to Brandt when the IMF got dissolved that, “ Welcome to CIA.”
And the most disgusting moment was when Benji took chewing gum out of his mouth, stuck it on the laptop screen, and after a couple of minutes started chewing the same gum again!
While concluding my review, I would say that it was one of the majestic movies of 2015. It was the 8th highest earning movie of the year 2015. It got a rating of an average of 3.5 out of 4 stars. In my opinion, all the people looking for some ultra thrilling, action-based adventurous stuff, I highly recommend this movie.
