Affective Anatomies
This series is a focus on anatomical parts of the human body, which have been central subject, or part of one, in Fine Art for centuries now: the hand, the portrait and the nude. Each artwork has one of these elements as a focus. I wanted to detach from simple representations of reality, mere studies, and after adequate introspection and search, I decided to increase visual expression through lighting and building a unifying atmosphere.
Thus, the three works work just as well together and individually.
