Twice a year, I'm directed to design a series of compression socks geared towards women and nurses for a company's private label line. As the company's target market is smaller shops around the USA, it was essential that colors are kept to a minimum, and that designs are as simple as possible to ensure quick delivery and manufacturing.

The designs are vibrant, fun, and add a pop of color to an otherwise boring set of hospital scrubs. Compression socks are beneficial for people who spend a large amount of time on their feet, and the factory which manufactured this brand's socks had machines that ran slightly smaller than planned. To navigate around this, I worked with the factory to remake several designs with as few changes in needle direction as possible so as to decrease the number of wefts and increase the stretchiness of the socks.
