RISD Invisible Drawing Assignment: "Invisibility"

This is my other drawing assignment for RISD. I chose the assignment that said to visualize the invisible. When I was thinking of what to do for this project, I thought of things that were invisible as things that we can't see using our naked eye. So, I thought of invisible things as atoms, cells, molecules, etc. I put those on the exterior/background since they are all things that are around us. I then began to think of the emotions and thoughts I had and realized that they could also be considered invisible as they cannot be seen. However, we visualize our emotions and thoughts through physical materials and things. Thus, I drew my head and on the inside I "visualized" my emotions. For example, I made a happy face to represent the emotion of happiness through objects such as the sun, flowers, grass, etc. since they are all things we associate with happiness.
