Food Lion have their own teriyaki sauce made in the United States giving customers an option of a more economical cost. Food Lion makes the sauce cheaper compared to other brands that are imported from other asian countries. Food Lion's target market is products that are fresh and affordable.
Compared to other brands of teriyaki, Food Lion has a simple design to be easily stand out from the others. Teriyaki sauce is considered a common marinade or sauce for asian food. Teriyaki is commonly used for marinating meats and seafood or cooking recipes like stir-fry. Those that want to explore asian foods, there is a simple teriyaki recipe on the back.
The similar typeface, Two Pro, to Food Lion's original typeface purpose is for their customer still recognize their brand. In comparison to Food Lion's old medieval style lion, the new logo is just the head in a more modern style. The logo is bit bigger than the original label and is brought more to the center for the customer to immediately recognize.

With the rebrand, there are two more flavors add besides the original. Each label expresses different kind of cooking recipes you can have with the sauce. If you like a more garlic and salty flavor, the garlic and green union teriyaki would be the way to got. A sweeter sauce than the original sauce is the teriyaki sauce with pineapple juice.
