Creating AN UTOPIA AIRBNB village to take women’s safety to the extreme.
This is NOT a solution to sexual harassment problems, sexual abuse or sexist issues. The UTOPIA AIRBNB is a SPECULATIVE DESIGN project created to RAISE AWARENESS on those problems.
Through an ideally safe village for women, we want to reinforce our perspective on real world issues. SEXUAL HARASSMENT and GENDER GAP are real world issues.
The aim is to catch people’s attention in order to create a change in people’s mind.

The Utopia Airbnb is placed in a separated region but travelers can easily get access to from the city. The village is divided into 3 main zones:
Environment Zones
Women Travellers / Family Zones
Men Travellers Zones.
The female zones and the male ones are not divided in a way that the access is neglected to one another, it’s just a matter of accommodations.
The user journey in this case is represented by this short movie, that you could find also on the Utopia Airbnb website. The aim is to showcase all the new technologies and how this village could work.
