For this university project I had to make a one word poster, based on our chosen word. I decided to pick the word sweet and do some designs based on the sweets Lovehearts and other sweet packaging.
These six designs, I thought would work well as a set.
The Lovehearts on this set of designs are supposed to be 'Actual size'.
This composition would perhaps work better as wrapping paper instead of a poster, however I did try cropping into the poster which I thought made it work better as a poster.
Here I tried out a pop art composition for my designs. I tried out a variety of different compositions and filters to give the posters a more pop art style.
These compositions are a patterns and would also work well as wrapping paper or greetings cards. I wanted to try the design on a light and dark background.
Here I tried making typography from my Lovehearts. I tried the design on a light and dark background.
For this design I took the packaging for swizzles drumsticks and replaced the type on the packaging with the word sweet. I played around with gradient to give the design more depth.
