Mirror + Ironing Board
This was a two days challenge in problem identification, visualization and function, designed around the modern, compact home space.

Overview
Compact living is a global trend that in the future will only become stronger. More and more people choose to live in the big megalopolis and to make the small studio and micro apartments their home. And in the future, this tendency will increase the number of people and it will decrease inhabitable space, so the dwellings will become smaller and smaller. To create a wholly functional and welcoming home in such a restricted space arrangement is a significant challenge that requires a bold and brave way of thinking outside the box. And to do so without adding too much clutter — otherwise you'll likely feel overwhelmed and claustrophobic.
Space crunch is a major problem in modern apartments. Modern houses with limited space make us really choose what furniture we can accommodate in our homes. I decided to pick up an area and design a piece of furniture that is multi-functional and yet compact.

Ironing Boards
Don’t you hate finding a crease in your perfectly dry-cleaned shirt, a moment before needing to leave. Having to unfold and set up the ironing board, plug in the iron, wait for it to heat up, iron and then pack the whole thing back up again.

An ironing board is an essential element for every home. But its awkward dimensions make it difficult to tuck away, especially in smaller homes. The problem lies in the fact that you need to take out and put away your ironing board on a regular basis; this means that you need a storage space that’s big enough and completely accessible. Its quite cumbersome, especially for smaller homes. Every user who owns one of these has definitely struggled to store the iron boards after use. Its quite bulky and ruins the aesthetics of the house making people want to hide them.
No longer do you need a large enough cupboard to store your ironing board, nor do you need space in your home where your ironing board can be set up and left for hours at a time. Present your ironing board in style without wanting to hide them away.

To make the "Getting Ready" process more seamless, I have combined the ironing board with the mirror.  Enjoy a full length mirror at your home that converts into an ironing board when needed.
