Decker Electric is a commercial and residential company based out of the American Midwest. For the logo, the counter space of the capital D creates a lightning bolt. The contrasting colors of the logo and logotype help the elements to stand out amount all the white space.

Just like the wide open plains of the Midwest, I wanted the use of white space in the design to be open and free.

To complement the zig-zag brackets I came up with a lightning bolt pattern based off of the form in the middle of the logo.
