The Concept

Designing a branding and packaging design for a smart necklace brand to appeal to the targeted market. The aim was to produce a functional and elegant packaging that can be reused as a jewellery box to keep the necklace safe when not being worn. The idea is to incorporate a pop-up flower to the design to create a memorable packaging experience. Raised spot gloss is added for the logo and tagline to provide an elegant look to the box.


The Branding
    
   
   
The brand name Chakra comes from a Sanskrit term that refers to various focal points of spiritual power in the human body to reflect the function of the necklace. The concept for the branding is healthy inside out. The brand logo utilises a lotus flower to symbolises health and wellness. The font in use, Isidora, gives a clean, elegant and contemporary look to the brand. The colour of a heart chakra inspires the primary brand colour green. The heart chakra is located in the centre of the chest just where a necklace would sit in the user’s body. Meanwhile, the orange colour represents positivism and rejuvenation.



The Final Product
Raised spot gloss is added for the logo and tagline to provide an elegant look to the box.
   
As the box opened, a pop-up flower will bloom to greet the user; this was made to create a memorable packaging experience.
     
The packaging can be reused as a jewellery box to keep the necklace safe when not being worn.
