Senior Year Graphic Design Internship Projects

The first project of my internship was to redesign the logo for ONE Catering and Events. This logo is simplistic, clean, and visually attractive. It was meant to convey feelings of innovation, a welcoming nature, and a family oriented atmosphere.
A Facebook graphic for Presto! Fast Italian, a restaurant owned and operated by ONE Hospitality Group. The intent of this graphic was to inform Presto's Facebook audience about Tutoni's Flour Shop Scratch Pasta. Tutoni's Flour Shop is a scratch-made pasta line that is used at the Presto restaurant.
Another Facebook graphic created for Tutoni's Restaurant to advertise to their audience their availability for private events such as birthdays, anniversaries, small weddings, and holiday parties.
Continuing into my internship, I was assigned to create templates for the Toni Calderone, the CEO of O.N.E Hospitality Group. Toni is working with her team to revamp her personal brand and social media presence. These templates are to be used on her Instagram feed to break up photography and insert text and quotes. Using her already established branding elements, I created these templates with the intent in mind that they can be reused in the future. I took Toni's beautiful color palette of deep reds, nudes, grays, and golds and reworked some of her quotes into a visually appealing way. The templates tie in elements of her personal logo, with the typography of her name and the gold gradients. The following images are a few examples of the various iterations of the templates I created. With each new design, I experimented with different color schemes within her color palette to incorporate choices for each social media post.
The typeface used throughout the templates is Avenir Heavy
The design elements of the arrow pattern and the drop down arrow are included in the branding guide that already established Toni's intended personal brand. Considering these templates are typography only, I revamped the design elements to be decorative and bold to go alongside the text.
A graphic to advertise all of the daily specials for the restaurant The Cantina, located in downtown York, PA. Display typography is Rig Solid Reverse Bold and the Body Copy is Chippewa Falls.
Three separate graphics to advertise the daily specials at The Cantina for Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. I really enjoyed this project because of the bright, fun colors and bold typography.
2 of the landscape oriented happy hour graphics also designed for The Cantina located in York, PA.
3 of the portrait oriented happy hour graphics designed for The Cantina.
Three graphics to inform customers of The Cantina that their outdoor seating (the courtyard) closes for the season on October 31st, 2020.
A few of the graphics I designed for Presto Fast Italian that contain positive customer reviews, mostly found on their Facebook page. The graphics are designed to be posted on their social media pages and have a rotating background of different images from the Presto brand. The review from the customer can easily be adjusted and updated when new reviews are made in the future.
Package designs for Presto Fast Italian to-go food containers. They utilize Presto's icons used in their signage and branding. The first horizontal design with a label is intended for paper bowls. The first pattern design uses the "zoodle" icon, while the last pattern design uses all of the protein, veggie, and pasta icons.
Three of the vertical designs, very similar to the horizontal one above. They use fun phrases and icons to attract customers and coincide with their branding. I never received a final direction on the packaging, so the designs featured here are some of my favorites.
A "truffle season" Facebook graphic designed for Tutoni's Restaurant in downtown York. It was designed in the style of a chalkboard, which is a recurring feature found throughout Tutoni's dining rooms and their branding.
A large menu decal designed for the back of the Presto Fast Italian building in West York. The intention of this graphic is for the customers in the drive-thru line to have a second menu to browse before making their way to the main menu and window to order. It goes over the steps of the ordering as well as gives prices. The size is 238.75" x 91"
A series of circular labels designed for Herb and Herd food products, intended to go on jars.
A series of rectangular labels designed for Herb and Herd food products, intended to go on jars, bread packaging, and small bottles.
During my fall semester of my senior year in the graphic design program at York College, I participated in an internship for O.N.E Hospitality Group.

O.N.E is a hospitality group that owns and operates various restaurants and businesses in the York, PA area, such as Presto! Fast Italian, The Cantina, Tutoni's Restaurant, Aviano's Corner Trattoria and Bar, and O.N.E Catering and Events. They are constantly looking to evolve and market their businesses to new audiences and customers. This experience taught me a lot about working remotely as a designer in these crazy times!
