A foray into AI generated memories, Machine Memories is comprised from a database of Glenn Browns work. These moments have been captured over 30 years and contain things that occurred during those halcyon days. These images are now narrating new stories, generating new memories from old tales.
Researcher and Psychologist Lila Davachi believes that time is memory. If our eventual desire is to get more time, all we are looking for in the end is to gain more memories. Considering that Photobooks are the most common ways for us to “store” memories, I feed GANs (Generative Algorithm Networks) with old photos to create new memories.
