People somewhere in Europe in Jeju Island
Covid19 made it almost impossible to travel abroad, causing most Koreans to travel locally. Therefore, many Koreans are fond of visiting Jeju Island, expecting to see something exotic. These photos were taken at an exhibition in Jeju Island that projects paintings of 'Van Gogh'.
With white masks, people's faces become anonymous and white screens for projection.
Despite the colorful and exotic scenery around, looking at photographs taken, I feel like the scenes are a bit hilarious and people look tired. They go to different places through multimedia, but they are still stuck in one place. It seems to be a scene where the desire to leave and the frustration that cannot do so collide.
