Sex?

In Design we were prompted to create an art piece derived from images found on google image search. Immediately I thought of the topic of sex and sexuality. For many young people, sex education is explicitly through the internet. Many teenagers turn to forums like yahoo answers or magazines like Men's Health or Cosmopolitan for advice and answers to many of their very personal questions about sex. This often leads to a great amount of misinformation spread to youth about sex and sexuality.

In Sex? I aimed to create a pamphlet based entirely on information derived from questions asked on internet forums and answers from the same forums as well as magazines and other websites. The images are all sourced from the google image results for "sex", "sexuality", "sex?", "sexuality", and "sex and sexuality".

Sex? is a piece that pointedly defines what digital sex education inducts into young adults and teenagers, often horrifying and incorrect facts that many are led to believe.
