The Island Collection 2019
The Island Collection is a collecting group founded in 2009 using a collecting group formed by the Bett Gallery. 25 like minded couples were bought together with the aim of pooling their money and spending 10 year collecting Tasmanian Artists artworks. The collection consisted of 63 works, some of which were multiple pieces. The works were sculpture, painting, video, screen printing and drawing.
I was hired to Curate and Hang the public exhibition at the Long Gallery Salamanca to celebrate the end of the 10 years of the group's collecting.
