This dresser is made entirely of solid wood; no fiberboard, no veneers, no plywood. The primary woods are bubinga and curly maple with wenge used for the pulls and inlay work.
The sides are made up of two pieces of contrasting woods that have been joined together on a curved line, then tapered and hand sculpted to final shape.
The drawers are dovetailed and then fit with under-mount, full extension drawer slides. Because the slides mount under the drawer bottoms, they are not visible when the drawers are opened.
Then thin dark lines that create a border around the top are inlaid wood.
