Assignment was to fill a 15 foot scroll with drawings of the human skeleton. Students were instructed to place a restriction on the way they draw for most of the drawing, then to remove the restriction and rework the drawing. My restriction involved binding my hands together with a large stick of vine charcoal between them.

Assignment was to take a portion from the Scroll drawing and draw it as though rotated in a 3D modeling tool (e.g. Google SketchUp)
Pile Drawing -- April 2013
50" x 76"
Assignment was to create a drawing exploring a previously crafted model of a pile. My model explored the hidden order of balancing rock forms. Inspired by rock formations seen in the Upper Montclair Quarry in Montclair, NJ.
