2035: A SHORT FILM.
Based on existing knowledge and plausible predictions, '2035: a short film' transports the viewer to the year 2035
in a 360-degree experience where they witness how day-to-day life has improved thanks to great technological developments. On the other hand, romance and human interactions have also changed tremendously and the
viewer is left to decide if these changes were for the better or for worse.

2035 I THE CITY.
The film takes place in a big city as populations are expected to grow exponentially by 2035. Predicted extreme weather conditions and an increase in natural disasters are shown through a wildfire in the mountains next to the city.
As a consequence of the fire and air pollution, the city is also very foggy.

2035 I THE APARTMENT.
The main character’s apartment showcases 2035's new technological features: moving furniture / walls,
artificial intelligence personal assistants, holograms and a 3D food printer.

2035 I WORKPLACE : BUCKS.
The main character’s workplace is a coffee shop called ‘BUCKS’. This is where the viewer learns about the predicted working conditions for 2035: loss of jobs to automated workforce, less human contact, etc. The location was designed to emphasise the Virtual Cashier Machines that customers use to place orders and the use of holograms in advertisement and billboards.

2035 I HOLOGRAMS.
Holograms are predicted to take over our day to day lives in the same way that computers did in the early 2000’s. They are displayed through planes that come out of the main character’s bedroom walls and are, in the future, what computers are to us now.
