The Expressionist Vessels stem from a long tradition of art history. In form, the works are Classical, while in surface they carry expressionist textures. Terracotta clay is methodically applied to the wheel-thrown vessel til patterns emerge. The surfaces are non-representational. The involvement in each piece is rythmic and active.
