This backpack was designed with the suburbanite in mind. Someone who lives near a big city and likes to go for a visit during the weekends. She’ll spend the day in the park or a museum, meeting friends for dinner or just running errands during her free time. To avoid traffic she likes to take public transportation, saving her some extra hassle.
Ten design concepts were developed looking into storage space, collapsable compartments and a variety of carrying possibilities.  These were presented to fellow classmates, who voted in order to select the concept I would be developing further.
Made from cotton canvas, this bag features an expandable main compartment which can be adjusted with its roll top closure. Two independent front zippered pockets and two side pockets for sun glasses, water bottles, etc.

A collapsible extra pouch for quick to grab items, can be pulled out or stored while still wearing the backpack.  Comes with padded adjustable back straps, cotton trimmings and brass notions.  It’s roll top closure can be used as a top handle to carry the bag like a purse.
