Introduction.
Howard Hope is the combination of two experiences. Traveling the Middle and Far East while reading an Autobiography by Howard Marks called "Mr Nice", and my belief in the word of hope carrying the most meaning to my life.
I have been a DJ since the age of 13 and have not found the right alias... It was not about me finding it, but rather it finding me.

I have been influenced a lot by www.goodfuckingdesignadvice.com, specifically their use of Helvetica. I decided to use this font in my exploration for a logo for Howard Hope.
With most of my experiences with Logo design i tend to focus on the 'Initial' of the words.
I get a feel for how they can live with each other.
And then somethign special started to happen...
Traveling and living in China had a major influence on me visually, and the character i found in the H's was what i believe to be a result of the bombardmeant of new cultrue, specifically the beauty i found in their written language.
