Chosen Frame - "Pool Table at Lutz" (01:09:09)
Notes on scene:
Dmitri stands in front of a pool table in the Schloss Lutz holding a sheet of paper detailing a painting called “Boy with Apple”. The painting was meant to be hung in the room but Dmitri realises that the painting has been replaced, hence his shocking facial expression within this frame. This sets up his mission to get the painting back into his possession.

Yellow: Foreground object (pool table)
Orange: Middle-ground (character)
Red: Background (lamps, table and window)
Lights Breakdown
There are three different types of lamps in this shot.
1. Tall lamp on the left hand side
2. Two sphere lamps in the middle
3. Ornate lamp on the right hand side
These lamps also produce different amounts of light. The tall and sphere lamps give off little and soft lighting, while the ornate shines brightly.
Good to note: Nash and Faisal's frames were from the Grand Budapest Hotel, while Yucong, Layal and my frames were located in Lutz. The contrasted lighting from the two locations are evident where the Grand Budapest Hotel had a brighter and evenly spread light, while the Lutz had darker, vignette frame.

The light grey hatching in the section is intentional and it represents the areas where there is minimal light.
