Para este proyecto se necesitó investigar sobre un artículo en donde se hablara de la contaminación.
En base al artículo de “The Known Unknowns of Plastic Pollution” se diseñó este boletín informativo creado con materiales reciclables. La parte del texto principal está impreso en papel reciclable craft con manchas de pintura que se hicieron con diferentes tipos de plástico, para que muestre, metafóricamente, la mancha que crea la contaminación. A mitad del boletín, se encuentra una sección de ejemplos en donde, para cada hoja, se utilizó el material del que se hablaba, por ejemplo se mencionan bolsas de McDonald’s, una bolsa de compras, hasta un pedazo de garrafón el cual se planchó para que luciera como hoja.
For this project, it was necessary to research an article where contamination was discussed.
Based on the article in "The Known Unknowns of Plastic Pollution" this newsletter was designed, created with recyclable materials. The main text part is printed on recyclable craft paper with paint stains that were made with different types of plastic, to show, metaphorically, the stain that pollution creates. In the middle of the newsletter, there is a section of examples where, for each sheet, the material that was talked about was used, for example McDonald's bags are mentioned, a shopping bag, even a piece of jug which was ironed to make it look like a leaf.
