Studio IV aims to evaluate the roles of spatial elements (door, window, ceiling, wall and columns) within the interior. Beyond the mere form or the aesthetic qualities of such elements, the studio challenges students to reformulate the performance of elements by looking at alternative uses. In addition, such alternatives may be found in using different data sets, that both challenges our understanding of how such elements developed in history, as well as how these the same elements may perform differently in the future.Studio IV aims to evaluate the roles of spatial elements (door, window, ceiling, wall and columns) within the interior.
