Here's what she has to say about her stories:

"I think as humans we forget how much alike we are to insects and animals in general. This is sort of a social experiment, in the hope that people can read this and see if they do certain things that I have witnessed these insects do. Some stories are sad and humorous. However, if humans think we have free will, which there is a massive argument that we don’t, how can we as human species change the way we carry the implicit bias on the people we encounter?"
