Some time ago I started to collect discarded plastic milk cartons, 2-litre ones. I set myself a goal to make a lampshade out of these milk cartons. Now it turns out into a series.

The ‘Milkshell‘, as I call it, is the second lampshade in a series and has a playfull shape with a protective character because of the inward direction in which it points. It uses the top part of the milk cartons. The best thing of this lampshade is the fantastic shadow it shows on the walls. It’s always a big surprise how the design turns out but it is even a bigger surprise how the light and the shadow will turn out.
