Design Brief: To design and develop a new product (or system), that will encourage young professionals who have busy lifestyles, to keep hydrated throughout the day.
Drinking water is not a trend or a fashion statement, it’s a key aspect to lead a healthy life style. Research indicates that being dehydrated just by 1%, impairs performance in tasks that require attention and can negatively impact focus, alertness, and short-term memory.

H2U is a smart water bottle designed to never let you forget to drink water. The bottle sends regular visual reminders and with user testing it is proven to help increase water intake by over 75%. H2U is not only visually stunning and functional, but with its choice of materials it is also environmentally friendly and sustainable.
Concept development & prototype
H2U is Modern & Elegant, and with its inbeded technology it encourages users to stay hydrated. The reminder display a non invasive LED pattern, focusing the users attention to drink and keep hydrated throughout the day.
H2U is integrated with a smart phone application. Which displays daily goals, intake, and allows users to adjust LED's colours, patterns and frequency of reminder.
