Concept Note -

Dreams and Decisions are an inevitable part of all of our lives.
Have you ever found yourself in a dilemma?
You took some decision to escape a situation or maybe the time when you decided to pursue a personal dream over a well paid job.
What would you do, if after achieving a target you realize you were running to escape and not to chase?
To say the truth or comfort the other with a lie? To be or not to be?

This project “The two sides” discusses this dilemma of Humans. There are 2 glass marbles here of orange and blue color (Blue being the chaser and orange, the runner). 3 Instances are shown where somehow the runner manages to escape. They are set in this loop of constant fight until the balance is established in the end.

Balance where,
No one is winner or loser
No one is right or wrong
No one is black or white
No one is god or demon

This phenomenon made me realize that we humans are this strange hybrid creatures like Sphinx or Gamayun. Two sides within us engaged in a fearful civil war, which never ends and hinders every human transaction. This will never leave us. That’s how much humans need meaning.

Life emerges from a continuum of chaos and order,
transience and permanence,
liberation and entrapment

These paradoxes are just an invitation for synthesis.
