Grand Hotel Villa Feltrinelli, Lago di Garda, Italy
A 21-room boutique hotel located on the shores of Lake Garda in the Italian high country, this villa was originally built as a private residence in 1892. The project includes restoration and conversion of the original house, as well as the gardener’s cottage, guesthouse, and Limonaia that originally processed lemons grown on the estate’s orchards, many of which survive to this day. The hotel includes two restaurants and a bar, as well as a beautifully landscaped 8-acre park. Many of the villa’s original furnishings were restored to maintain the authentic Neo-Gothic style of the interior while private baths were created in auxiliary rooms and designed to blend with the original house while offering all the modern conveniences of a high-end boutique hotel.
