Design Concepts
The concepts of privacy is highly employed in the evolution of KP_01. Large living areas are created which link to the dining space and kitchen seamlessly. The main bedrooms are pushed to the rear end of the site and a courtyard system is created as project is located in the tropics. The courtyard is then created to have the pool which to serve as a cooling feature while providing interesting scenes from bedrooms, living areas and kitchen. Landscapes gardens are created at the rear end of the site where all bedrooms are strategically positioned to enjoy views from both pool and landscapers gardens.

Natural ventilation and lighting are achieved effortlessly by virtue of the orientation and positioning of blocks and rooms.

KP_01 is said to be true reflection of the “marriage” of the two distinct architectural styles dominant in West Africa, the old and the new eras.
