•     This project started with an interest in working with the rigidity of 3D printed objects and the goal of creating jewelry which bridged the gap between the wearer of the jewelry and the jewelry itself through the use of the software Maya, and 3D printing. Keeping the rigidity of 3D printed items and the shape of the jewelry in mind, the piece would require the wearer to alter his/her body in order to wear it. Thus creating an active experience in which the jewelry was not merely worn by the body, but instead forced the body to actively adjust to wear the piece; the body would not wear the jewelry, the jewelry would wear the body.
