Exhibition design for Ballroom Marfa, gallery situated in Marfa, Texas. The title "Candelilla, Coatlicue and the Breathing Machine refers to a facet of each artist’s contribution to the show, which ranged from wax pours to robotic storytellers to provisional shelters and beyond. Understanding this and many other concepts that were encompassed within, the purpose of the identity was to have a narrative both organic and the simultaneous existence of a past, present and future. The central inspiration was taken from botanical and natural history books, "concrete poetry" and scientific texts from the 18th century.
