Choir (Augmented Reality Choir) 

After being stuck inside for 3 months in New York City my relationship to bodies and voices has changed entirely. We now feel anxiety about being around physical people and I wanted to question the importance of physicality in our life. Augmented reality merges both the physical and the virtual. How could digital voice feel physical and comforting? I'm creating a 10 person augmented reality choir that viewers can remix and sit inside of to feel enveloped by sound. The digital bodies of the choir are purposefully low resolution and glitchy, a metaphor for the way we've been relating to others digitally over the past 3 months.
