My final design project for AAA School of Advertising in Cape Town was to create anything at all. So I created, amongst other things, a pop-up, illustrated manual to help you to protect yourself against the monsters that lurk in the dark.
No matter how old you are there are still an enormous array of scary, creepy things that lurk in the dark, hoping for a little nibble of your toes and ankles, or indeed to just gobble you all up. The monsters are always on the prowl, looking for a little munch of your tender extremities. You look rather tasty, and they’d love to have a bite. This illustrated pop-up book provides humorous clues to help you spot monsters, and helpful hints as to what does and doesn’t work when attempting to defend yourself against them. Hopefully this book will help you to emerge triumphant, with all your extremities intact.
