Mucha in Dunhuang

If it is spread directly or indirectly, the mutual influence of artistic creation is beyond time and space. So I did a poster illustration in the Mucha style, taking the image of the famous instrumentalist from the 112th Cave of the Mogao Dunhuang Caves as the main figure. This image is the representation of music as the most typical figure in Dunhuang frescoes it is very representative and impressive. She carries a plucked string musical instrument, pipa, on her shoulders, playing music backwards. She is very relaxed and fascinating with her dance posture and a rather elegant figure. Since the circles in Mucha's common composition are usually filled with European architectural elements, in this illustration, the special zaojing (caisson) pattern of Dunhuang architecture is also used as the content of the circle.
