This project revolved around finding a solution to wrist injuries for skateboarders using smart materials. As the joint misalignments and fractures are 27% more likely to occur on the wrist more then any other part of the body, the use of smart material could help prevent these injuries. Utilizing materials such as shock absorbing materials like 3DO and thermochromic fabrics.
